The role of Junior Account Manager is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is ready to take the next step in their career after 1-2 years of relevant work experience. You are naturally sociable and have begun building a valuable and relevant network. As an emerging project manager, you excel at keeping a clear overview while balancing multiple tasks. You are driven by results and work precisely, ensuring that details and deadlines are always met.
As a Junior Account Manager you will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients, under the guidance of the Senior Team. It is a dynamic role with a lot of personal responsibility within a small team of 10 people.
You develop strategic plans and are also responsible for execution: including translating global marcom strategies into local PR plans, drafting press releases and backgrounders, conducting interviews, event production, co-hosting press presentations and events, managing guest lists, organizing and guiding press trips, initiating and coordinating influencer partnerships and ambassador programs
Maintaining contact with and pitching stories to journalists, stylists, influencers, and other stakeholders, actively maintaining and expanding the agency's network
Writing, formatting, sending, and actively following up on press mailings, backgrounders, and event invitations
Guiding freelancers, and/or interns
Showroom tasks such as sample processing and coordination of loans
Keeping track of print/online publications and social posts about our clients, and incorporating them into weekly or monthly reports
About you
Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in a similar environment: for example, at a PR, event, or other creative agency, or on the client side where you managed agencies
You work with precision and are result-oriented; an ultimate multitasker who is accustomed to working meticulously and structured on various projects simultaneously without losing sight of deadlines, details, and budgets
Preferably, you have a valuable and relevant network within media, key opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders in the industries in which the agency operates
You have a strong interest in the brands we represent and a deep affinity with the sectors we operate in. You stay well-informed about the latest developments in areas such as art, lifestyle, beauty, design, fashion and culture.
You are familiar with all types of media; from online, social, and podcasts to print, radio, and TV
Perfect command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken. Proficiency in other languages is a plus
You are skilled in using InDesign, Photoshop, G Suite, and Office
